Hiiraan University follows a structured academic calendar designed to ensure consistent learning while providing breaks for rest and personal development.
The academic year begins in the first week of September and concludes in the third week of June. It is divided into two semesters of 18 weeks each, providing students with a comprehensive and balanced learning experience.
Between the two semesters, students have a two-week break, allowing them to rest, reflect, and prepare for the upcoming semester.
The summer break runs from the third week of June to the end of August. During this period, tutors and the university management team remain active in planning, training, and administrative tasks.
All university facilities, including libraries, offices, and study spaces, remain accessible throughout the year to support both staff and students in their academic and research activities.
